Remote Social Media Coordinator

Own the daily social media content workflow from idea to publication.

Come2Holiday is seeking a highly organized, creative, and proactive Remote Social Media Coordinator to manage the complete social media content workflow across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Apply for This Position

Role Summary

This is not simply a posting role.

The coordinator owns the workflow from content idea to publication, including strategy, shoot planning, coordination with models and videographers, remote production direction, review, scheduling, performance monitoring, and invoice coordination.

The position is performed remotely from Pakistan, while most content shoots take place in Aruba and other destinations. The company intends to publish social media content every day across a mix of reels, short-form videos, static posts, carousels, property content, destination content, travel inspiration, promotional content, and trend-based content.

Core Expectation

This role requires ownership of the complete content workflow.

The coordinator should not wait to be reminded to update Notion, confirm participants, send shoot instructions, direct the videographer, request shoot updates, verify that all scenes were captured, follow up on footage, review edits, request revisions, save approved content, schedule posts, collect invoices, research trends, or identify content gaps.

The videographer physically executes the shoot on location. The Remote Social Media Coordinator ensures the videographer receives the correct plan, follows the creative direction, captures the required footage, delivers it on time, and corrects anything that does not meet company standards.

Responsibilities

Structured ownership across strategy, production, publishing, and performance.

Social Media Strategy and Content Planning

  • Develop and maintain a content strategy for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Work with existing ideas, saved posts, reference content, and direction provided by management.
  • Create new content concepts supporting the company's destinations, properties, services, brand, and commercial objectives.
  • Plan a balanced mix of reels, carousels, static posts, destination content, property showcases, lifestyle content, educational content, and promotional content.
  • Use content from major travel companies and tourism brands as creative references and adapt ideas to fit Come2Holiday.
  • Maintain enough planned, filmed, approved, and scheduled content to support daily posting.

Trend and Competitor Research

  • Follow Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook trends, including hooks, formats, editing styles, audio, captions, and platform features.
  • Study leading travel companies, hotels, vacation-rental brands, airlines, tourism boards, and destination accounts.
  • Identify trends that fit Come2Holiday and avoid trends that do not provide meaningful brand value.
  • Propose new strategies so the company does not fall behind competitors or changes in platform behavior.

Notion Content Calendar Management

  • Maintain the existing Notion content calendar as the central source of truth for social media activity.
  • Update the calendar every working day with ideas, reference links, scripts, captions, shoot dates, posting dates, people, locations, deadlines, and approval statuses.
  • Link scripts, shot lists, raw footage, edited footage, approved content, captions, and published posts to the relevant Notion item.
  • Ensure every active item has a current status, responsible person, deadline, next action, and planned publication date.
  • Use Notion to identify content shortages, delayed edits, overdue approvals, invoice issues, and scheduling conflicts.

Shoot Planning and Coordination

  • Convert approved content ideas into executable shoot plans.
  • Coordinate availability with models, videographers, villa managers, property contacts, and other participants.
  • Confirm property and location availability, model needs, outfits, props, vehicles, products, equipment, and other production requirements.
  • Prepare scripts, shot lists, reference videos, scene instructions, actions, poses, transitions, camera angles, and required deliverables.
  • Send complete instructions before each shoot and confirm attendance, responsibilities, payment rate, and invoice requirements.
  • Handle scheduling changes, cancellations, delays, and participant replacements.

Remote Production Direction

  • Act as the remote production coordinator before and during shoots.
  • Give the videographer clear instructions regarding shots, camera angles, movement, transitions, property features, and creative direction.
  • Use reference posts, scripts, and shot lists to communicate the expected result.
  • Remain available through WhatsApp, voice call, or video call during shoots where practical.
  • Request progress updates, review sample footage remotely, and ask for corrections before the team leaves the location.
  • Hold the videographer accountable for following the approved production plan and directing models correctly.

Deliverable Follow-Up

  • Agree on editing and delivery deadlines before each shoot.
  • Follow up until all agreed photos, videos, edits, and other deliverables are received.
  • Verify that the correct number of deliverables has been submitted in the required quality and format.
  • Request raw footage when required and maintain records of outstanding footage and overdue edits.
  • Report repeated delays or reliability problems to management.

Content Review and Quality Control

  • Review every reel, video, photo, carousel, caption, and graphic before approval.
  • Compare final content against the reference post, script, shot list, and company standards.
  • Check quality, framing, lighting, editing, audio, music, transitions, text overlays, spelling, grammar, branding, pacing, hooks, dimensions, property accuracy, destination accuracy, and calls to action.
  • Request revisions with clear instructions and review revised versions before approval.
  • Never schedule incomplete, inaccurate, low-quality, or off-brand content.

Content Library Management

  • Save approved photos, videos, graphics, captions, scripts, references, and raw footage in the company content library.
  • Organize files by destination, property, shoot date, content type, campaign, platform, approval status, and publication status.
  • Maintain separate locations for references, scripts, shot lists, raw footage, edited content, revisions, approved content, scheduled content, and published content.
  • Use clear file names and link final assets to the corresponding Notion item.

Scheduling and Publishing

  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Maintain the requirement to publish every day with a healthy mix of reels, videos, carousels, static posts, property showcases, destination content, and promotional content.
  • Prepare captions, hashtags, calls to action, location tags, account tags, cover images, and platform-specific formatting.
  • Review every scheduled post before publication and correct failed posts, incorrect captions, missing tags, or formatting issues.
  • Keep enough approved content ready to prevent last-minute posting pressure.

Invoice Coordination

  • Inform models, videographers, photographers, and other external participants of invoice requirements before shoots.
  • Follow up after shoots to collect outstanding invoices.
  • Check invoices for correct name, date, service, hours, agreed rate, total amount, and payment information.
  • Request corrected invoices when information is missing or inaccurate.
  • Track invoice status and send complete invoices to the CEO for approval and submission to accounting.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

  • Monitor performance across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Track views, reach, engagement, likes, comments, saves, shares, watch time, completion rate, follower growth, profile visits, website clicks, and inquiries.
  • Identify which formats, hooks, destinations, villas, models, topics, and posting times perform best.
  • Test new hooks, captions, formats, covers, calls to action, styles, and posting times.
  • Provide regular updates on completed content, scheduled content, upcoming shoots, missing deliverables, revisions, invoices, performance results, and recommended strategy changes.

Daily and Weekly Expectations

Keep the content engine moving before anything becomes urgent.

  • Review and update the Notion calendar every working day.
  • Maintain accurate statuses, deadlines, owners, and next actions.
  • Coordinate upcoming shoots and follow up with models, videographers, and property contacts.
  • Prepare scripts, references, and shot lists.
  • Remotely direct the videographer and monitor production where practical.
  • Review delivered content and request revisions when required.
